In commemoration of the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, the Juritrust Centre for Socio-Legal Research and Documentation is hosting a specialized webinar titled “Institutional and Legal Framework for Combatting I.T. Related Traffickers: Trapped Behind the Scam.”
As technology evolves, human traffickers increasingly exploit digital platforms, cyber networks, and online anonymity to lure, trap, and traffic victims into forced criminality and online scams. This emerging trend poses severe challenges to conventional law enforcement and legal structures, demanding a critical review of existing institutional responses.
This webinar brings together legal practitioners, policymakers, civil society organizations, and stakeholders to dissect the complex realities of tech-facilitated trafficking.
