A ONE DAY intensive workshop on drafting skills was recently organized by the Juritrust Centre for Socio-Legal Research and Documentation in collaboration with the Ogun State Ministry of Justice.
The opening event was chaired by the Ekiti State Solicitor General and Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Justice. Director Law Review, Mr. Adegboyega Morakinyo; the Administrator-General and Public Trustee, O.P. Alabi; Director Chieftaincy Affairs, Segun Akinwumi; Director Legal Drafting, C.I. Ayoola; Coordinator Ministry of Justice Academy, Femi Onipede, Director Legal Services, Ekiti State House of Assembly, Ope Ajibola and other Law Officers. JURITRUST faculty was led by Professor Adedeji Adekunle SAN. Topics spanned fundamental principles of drafting, human rights consideration, style and syntax. Below we feature pictures of the event.
